This year's World Cup features 48 male and 48 female players. Team China's male lineup includes Lin Shidong, Wang Chuqin, Liang Jingkun, Lin Gaoyuan, and Huang Youzheng. On the women's side, the roster features Sun Yingsha, Wang Manyu, Wang Yidi, Chen Xingtong, and Kuai Man.

On the opening day, Huang Youzheng was the only Team China's player in action, sweeping against Egypt's Elbeiali Mohamed with 4-0.

After the match, Huang expressed satisfaction with his performance in the first game and looked ahead to his next opponent, Japan's Tomokazu Harimoto. "He's a very strong player, and I'll go into the match with a fighting spirit," he said.

Sanctioned by the ITTF and organized by the Sports Bureau of Macao and other institutions, the competition will be held from 14 to 20, April.
